    Default Found a M175

Looking for a project car for my 15 year old son in Michigan. Found a 1969 Jeep Kaiser M715. No frame rust, just surface. Good condition. Replaced 350HP engine everything else original. They are asking $12,500 but as there are not many around I cannot get a gauge on what is a reasonable price. If anyone knows of any for sale or can offer advice on this one, it would be appreciated.

Lastly, wanting to know if there can be conversion to disc brakes and replacement wheel set to make it more drive friendly. Not interested in going back to original just want a safe and fun car to drive.

$12,500 sounds awful steep for a non original truck that is not completely built up. Adding upgraded axles and wheels and tires add up real quick. Plus as seeing that you are in MI. just a word of caution that these trucks can be a handful in the winter. With no insulation they are cold and have a hard time keeping the windshield defrosted, plus they are going to leak no mater if they have a hard top or not.
