    Default Prestolite BO light

I got my hands on the entire assembly of hood mounted BO light and the light does work. I'm assuming there is a 24V bulb in there. Is there a 12V replacement or is this a sealed unit? I have it broken down as far as seems to go and don't want to go prying things apart that aren't meant to be. Obviously I have no real practical use for the light, but would like it to be functional with a 12V bulb if possible. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve added a pic but I know some people are having a hard time viewing.

You can buy the light assembly in 12V, just look on ebay etc for one used in a CUCV and use your bracket.

They are sealed 24v bulbs, there are a couple ways to convert it, these are in the online maintenance section at the top of the page, http://www.m715zone.com/vb/view.php?...dlight_convert

I converted mine to 12 volts with a tractor light of the appropriate size from TSC.

The CUCV black out drive lights are plastic. They will work, but they look different.
