I understand. His stuff is always extremely expensive. Good decision.

REOMIE, a vendor across the pond, which is a sister company to Red River Parts just had a new batch of coils produced, these are better quality than the older Chinese coils, even though they are still Chinese made??, They are getting good reviews. Hambone

That's interesting. It's the first time I've ever heard about a so called new batch of Chinese coils that are supposedly better quality and also getting good reviews. Question is, how do you tell one from the other? Maybe some research is in order here. I'm going to look into it if possible.

Call Blake @ Red River parts 903-547-2226, I heard Reomie was offering a warranty, don't know about Red River though.

    Default Coils

I have a good friend in the HMV truck parts business. He told me about 6 months ago that the coils are now coming from Korea and Indonesia and are better quality. Oil filled and no problems. I don't know if true or not and how do you know who is selling what???

That seems to be pretty good news. Don't know how you tell one from the other, unless the outer casing differs in some way. Right now, my truck is running outstanding with the new coil in it. Question is though, for how long?
