Steering wheel adapter
Post by safaritow on Nov 19, 2006, 2:12pm

I want to change my steering wheel with a grant wheel. The auto parts store does not show a kaiser to get me a adapter. What kind of car or truck will work to change my steering wheel. Thanks

You're going to want to look for a 69 Jeep Wagoneer or something, parts stores barely recognize older Jeeps.

I asked for full size Jeep Gladiator pickup for 1967, works fine...
Looks like according to the Grant site, that they dont make this kit anymore...I dont see it online with JC Whiney either, though it may be in their paper catalog but not online.
I did find this:
http://performance.drivewire.com/interio....llationkit.html

This link shows the years that are totally inclusive for the steering setup used on the M715 and civvy trcks as 63-73...that is correct....from the fist year of production until 73 the FSJ trucks and Wagoneers have the M715 style steering wheel with the "wider than tall" dimensions...same part number as above as well. I am confident this is the righ one, though I could look through my massive receipt folder if you wish...
