My buddy bent a set of rocker panels for me.

It looks like a good fit, your buddy should start selling them.

Those rockers look really good. Somebody posted pics of some they bought that were... not right.

I recently replaced the front floor pans and toe boards in my 65 Fairlane with panels I got from Classic to Current. They were also... not quite right.
I realize they design those knowing where the originals are most likely to rust and not wanting to invest too much time making all the contours match when they'll likely be trimmed off.... but still... not even close to a factory fit without chopping quite a bit off

But on a rocker panel, you're gonna use the whole thing. A little effort on their part would be nice.
My driver's side is good, passenger side appears to have been repaired in the motorpool with heavy aluminum and pop rivets.

    Your buddy has some skills...

He is really good with metal. I'll see if I can get him to make a few sets if people would be interested

I know I would be interested, especially if he can make the inner rocker as well.

If I remember, the inners are just flat with lips on each side to spot weld them on. They are like a steel structural channel only sheet metal. A local sheet metal shop bent them for me with no problem.
