Thats a pretty rare option isn't it? Wasn't it for radio equipped trucks?

I don't have one, but saw several at the Sam Winer yard in Akron...
    Does that count?

Kaiserjeeps, You are right , That was a radio truck option. My truck has one and though I've looked at alot of M715's, I only ever saw one other one. I was just kind of wondering how many might still be out there. I had a fellow interested in buying my truck. He was looking for a nice M715 with some options. I told him my truck has a heater, winch , and 100 amp charging system. He didn't want one with that system because the rectifier hangs in front of the radiator. All I could do was laugh!! M1028

PSSST! Barry, Don't laugh at me, but could you shed some light on why you laughed?

Well the guy said that he was only interested in a truck that was in very nice condition. Mine is very nice. He said that he didn't want a plain jane model. The more options the better. So I told him that my truck has the Fresh Air Heater, Winch , and the 100 Amp Charging System. When he heard that It had the 100 amp system , He said that he didn't like the rectfier that hangs down in front of the radiator and that he would want to take the entire system off. But then he was worried about the hole that would be left in the radiator support when the rectifier was removed. That's when I started laughing. I don't think this fella knows what he wants. M1028

OK, it sounded like there was a funnay of a technical nature I missed. I recalled there IS a big heat-finned thing in the front, and since these are true alternators that required a rectifyer to change to DC, I couldn'y see the funnay.

    Thanks for the clarification.
