Radio communication M 715
Post by mrsofttail on Nov 9, 2006, 3:22pm

Looking for assistance for the correct radio system to be mounted in the M 715, i have seen a few pictures showing them mounted on Dr. side troop seats, would this be correct ?.
Would the RT 68 transciever, PP 112 power supply have been used as a thought .

thanks

No the RT 68 is Korean war to early Veitnam erra. You would want a VRC serries radio like the VRC 12 or VRC 24.

Didn't we have a member about a year ago that installed the correct radio set up in the Member's Gallery? I seem to remember the mods to the driver's side troop seat behind the cab and all.
