Thread: Starter switch screw size

    My M715 was missing the foot starter button. I bought one for it but it came with no screws. I got the switch mounted in a metal panel that mounts in the hole in the floor. I looked at the manuals online and they show it being installed from the top and being held in place with screws.

    What type/size of screw is used for this?

    I was thinking of using stainless self tapping phillips head ones of an appropriate size. What do think?

    If i remember right they are 5/16 bolt going in from the top secured with nuts. may here in a little bit i walk out to the field and take a look

    Default Best route for stock brake refreshment?

    I just went and looked at my truck.(snow was deep) the metal plate is held on by bolts the pad is indeed held in place by self tapping screw. 1 in each corner.
