Default Separating the Axles from the axle tubes

Whats up 715z. I swapped my stock axles for some regeared stock axles this past spring. My old axles have been sitting in my garage taking up space since then. I want to pull the axles out of the tubes and save on them for repairs, but couldnt figure out how to separate the pieces. Could someone enlighten me please.

Remove the eight axle flange nuts, and hit the center of the flange with a large hammer. The flange will bounce away from the hub.
Take careful aim and don't hit the studs.

Got it! Thanks Jeepdan! Behind that plate lives one of the biggest nuts ive seen on the M715 yet!! Off to harbor freight after work tomorrow to procure a big enough wrench.
