Thread: Update on Backfiring through carb

    replaced the distributor cap, re-set the timming and dwell and she runs better then ever, what I thought was acceptable the day I bought it was rough combaired to now. I have put my thoughts of a swap on hold for now. Thanks for the advice Bumpr, Brute4c

    I have zero experience with the 230, but I suspect that much of the bad rap the Tornado gets is due to poorly maintained/set engines. Glad to hear that
