I tried a search and couldn't come up with an answer.
What is the tow rating of an M715/25 with the stock 6 cylinder? How do you calculate the towing capacity if you swap engines and transmissions?
Thanks
Jon

I think the stock brakes might be one limiting factor...
Even though I really HATE to do so, I'd 'speculate' that the pintle hook would be at least class 5 (10,000# rated) for towing and should go at least 750-1000# or more tongue weight. I pulled 8500# with a normal pickup and was wishing for my 715.
Big Blocks RULE!
3590 is the towed load allowance....the project managers manual, in the online manuals linked at the left, lists the pintle as rated for 12 tons.
