    Exclamation is there a easier way to get the spark plug wires out

    Hi im a highschool student work on an M-715 1-1/4 ton truck at my school but is there an easier way to get the spark plug wires off I've got two off but I can't get a wrench down there to unscrew them. Pls, help. I need because I can only work after school because my ag teacher is leaving

    Here is a picture of the correct wrench as listed in the service manual.
    You could modify a box wrench by cutting the side out, but you would need to be able to heat it up, to put a bend into it.

    You can actually make a wrench. I used an old boxed end wrench and heated with a torch to bend the end. Then cut the notch with a cut-off wheel. Then ground down the sides for a little more clearance. Works better than the one I bought.

    I believe I got one of those. If be surprised if there are any left. It works great for wires, but I have not figured out a great way to remove plugs with it. It's probably just me.

    This wrench is for removing the plug wires from the plugs and ignitor. You use a regular deep socket for the plugs.

    I got mine from ebay. The seller had four or five for sale. $15. I got it a few months back so I don't know if he has any left.
