    Default radiator questions

hi guys, i recently got a m715 and it has some overheating issues, it has a bbc in it and i think that it has the original radiator from the 6 cyl in place, so i am sure that this may be the root of my problem. my question is, does anyone know of a big radiator that will fit without major surgery? there is also an electric fan that does not cover the entire radiator surface (close to 60%) so this may be an issue as well. i did read the post about the elec fans, so i might be looking for one of these.

I used the flex-o-lite black magic fan on a '68 chevelle radiator - designed for a 396. I don't have the p/n here at work, but you just have to trim the front mounting channel and it slides right into place.

I can post pics tomorrow if you want them.

I used a Flexalite with My BBC. Runs about 210 degrees.

i have a 454 in my truck and i have the stock radiator for now with two (perma frost) 12'' electric fans that pull 3000 cfm's apiece. and i have no problem with cooling as of yet. it has not gotten over 190 while running.
