Thread: Spark Plug Adapters

    Default Spark Plug Adapters

    Midwest Military just announced they had spark plug adapters made for M series trucks. You use a civilian plug and place the adapter over it. On the surface, it looks like the original plug and uses the M series wires.

    From their ad;

    FINALLY! 24v spark plug adapters are in! No more need to find the now non existent 24v plugs. Just get a set of our adapters and you’ll be able to run over the counter plugs for the life of the truck.

    Yep, just saw those. They look like a really great option since the waterproof plugs are getting harder to find. My only concern is that in the M715 is that they may be too long to get the wires on with the way the plugs angle towards each other. They will work great in the other vehicles like the M37 and M38a1 where the spark plugs are flat. Here is a couple pics that I grabbed.

    I see John from Midwest Military confirmed that they will not fit the M715 series trucks due to the length on their Facebook page.

    That’s about right. Nothing on an M715 can be easy.

    I think another solution would be to have a company manufacture plug wires with the waterproof connector on one end and the civilian boot on the other, that would work with all the trucks.
