    Default brakes

I am about to start to redo rear brakes. The only thing I have are the backer plates, brake pads and drum. from what ive read I can get the wheel cylinders and brake pads from Memphis equipment.

Does anyone have a list of everything I need. Hopefully I can look at the front brakes to see how everything goes together.

I just got two rear brake shoes from memphis (thanks mr. charns) and have replaced all four brake cylinders. now I'm having to build a new rear brake line to the right side brake because the fittings were mangled by a previous owner. I would say you should get some PB blaster for rusted parts and brake cleaner (non-clorinated) to degrease things. Use a flare wrench on the fittings. Very important - a regular wrench with mess the fitting up. (see above) Good luck with your efforts.

you will need some coil springs and some special clips and rod to fix the shoes to the backing plate. check out the exploded view in the parts manual. or memphis has the same view but not all of the parts needed.
