Finally got all the laser cuts and tubing cut for the back bumper and tailgate. Can’t wait to get out to the shop and start welding this weekend!

Took a break from all the welding and grinding and disassembly to work on a little fun stuff. I think it turned out pretty good!

Productive Xmas day! Got the bumpers back from powder and drilled and tapped all the holes and got the rear bumper all together ready to go on. Spent the rest of the day fabbing the tailgate. Just the hinges to go (after I figure out how I’m gonna do that, lol). Merry Xmas!

Looking Good!
Is that real money?
I like your tailgate. I have 2 M715 beds without a tailgate. Your pictures got me thinking I should consider fabricating up my own too. Do you have any dimensions of the materials used that you are willing to share?
I'm planning on using one bed for a M715 trailer and the other bed on my next M715 truck project.

More progress. Welded up all the holes that the fire dept put in this thing (there was lots!). Box is still on cause I’m waiting on some laser cuts for the tailgate hinges. Should get the body out for sandblast and paint in the next week or so. Then I’ll start cleaning the frame up for the new power train and get the springs moved!
