I am currently in the process of putting a small block chevy and a turbo 400
2wd transmission in my truck. Does anybody have pictures or suggestions on how to mount the transfer case shifters? Thanks!

I dont have a pic but this might give you a mental picture.....
Some members in the past have built a half circle piece of metal with bolt holes to mount to the ring of bolts on the rear of the trans...then run a plate from there along the passenger side of the motor forward and attach to that.
I forget what they used for a front support but it could have been a bellhousing bolt or 2...
I did a TH400. Let me see if I can scare up a few pics of my bracketry.

Here we go:
Here's the lower bracket, which I mounted to the pan flange:
Here is the top bracket, which mounts to the extension housing bolts and the bellhousing bolt:
Here is the top bracket in its rough form:

Thanks for the input! I thought about something off of the bellhousing or to run a half circle from flange to flange over the trans but never considered using the extension housing. Once again a valuable web site.
Between the top and bottom brackets, its a really rigid setup and the levers work very well, just as they did with the original manual setup.
