I just picked up a truck that I believe is an AM715.
It has alot of small differences & some big ones.
Some of the big are it has 8 lug axles that are stock, frt is a dana 44, rear looks to be a dana 60.
The bed looks alot like a m715 but the tool box underneath is square not rounded. The frt fenders are j truck fenders.
The hood has a trim piece across the frt like a civi truck.
There are some other differences that I cant think of right now.

Anyone know anything about these trucks ?
Anyone have any pics of them ?

    Thanks in advance.

what year is it? You might have a "thriftside" bed: had angled fenders in the rear, like a Willys truck or a Forward Control.... not sure they had a toolbox but who knows. They were available as 3/4t trucks I think, too.. which would explain the axles. There are pics of them somewhere on this site, on one of these boards... but can't remember which one. Maybe this one! lol... OH! here it is:

http://www.m715zone.com/techspec/am715/ I've seen a few of the ambulance versions, they're pretty rare either way. In my opinion they lack the machismo of the real thing, but they're still good trucks. Enjoy, and post some pics!!

cool.... but why? lol... Are you going to restore it or mod it?? I think a restored deal would be kind of neat to have.

I guess to answer your question with a question, Why have an m715 ?
I already have a m715 so I figured why not have another odd vehicle
I havent deceided if it will get restored or modified yet. I got to get the m715 on the road first.

There is no data tag on this truck any other places to look ?
This truck was previously owned by Rockwell International.
The family I got it from has had it for 18-20 years.
I have no other history on it.

What are the specs on the truck...i.e. engine, transmission, .... etc. Any odd things on it like AC or the like?
