    Default M715 Scale Model Search

    Hello,

This is my first post to this forum - I don't own an M715, yet.

However, I am looking for a scale model of the M715.

Is there or has there ever been a scale model (plastic, resin, diecast) of the M715?

I saw there was an announcement of one being produced in Germany back in 2006, did that ever pan out?

    Thanks in advance,

    Bob

There's a Matchbox-sized version, but pretty hard to find. They do show up on eBay from time to time, from what I hear. (I don't look lest I decide I need to bid on it!)

And I haven't heard anything further about the German company that was talking of producing one. Brute? Have you by chance learned anything further on that?

    Welcome to the board, Bob!

Yep, there is a 1/87 or HO scale made by Trident for HO scale train modeling. I don't think it is that hard to get, I see it list in the catalogs all the time. It would be nice if the 1/35 version ever did come out. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. They probably determined that there is not enough market out there for it. You could always do like I did, and build your own from scratch. I found a 1/18 scale Wagoneer that I chopped apart for the front clip and doors. The rest is scratch built from styrene plastic.

Dave, everytime I see that truck, I am always amazed....It looks like you took a real one and just shrunk it down. That is what you did, right?
