My new green jeep is the old jeep and my old red jeep is the newer jeep.

Front axle and lame dual stabilizer. I pitched that thing for a single and my bump steer went away. Never had any luck with duals. Once had one freeze open in the winter. Need to reroute that lower coolant line. That's just begging to catch something.

That left heater is out of an M151 Mutt.

They work pretty well in an M715. I have one in my truck and one in another I did some work on. Be sure it has a 12V motor if your truck has a 12V electrical system, otherwise it is like running on the low fan setting all the time. They sit nicely in the space on the passenger fenderwell too.

Sure seems like they were hooked up as 12v. Needed to take them out to refurb them before winter if I decide to use them. I've got dual batts so getting 24v to them won't be a problem. They sure did sound angry when they were running though.

How well do these things work in the winter?

Right now I'm leaning towards getting a newer heater setup from summit racing. I am looking at this one right now: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-991106/ . 3 speeds at 300 cfm and 40,000 btu's should keep'r toasty.

I'd have to imagine the old military ones are can be made to last beyond most of the stuff today and alot more durable. Admittedly, I'm not stoked about trading the nice metal ones for something probably plastic that says 'China' on the side.

That heater on the right: what does the tag say? I have one of those but it doesn't have the tag. I haven't installed it yet, but if the motor doesn't turn fast enough, i'll look for something that will fit in the box
    Thanks, George
