Default barrman : Heater Fan Switch

    Heater Fan Switch

How did the FSJ trucks turn on the heater fan and control the speeds? I can see a need for 3 cables to route the air and wonder if they had some kind of switch/cable unit. My '66 Chevy truck has that and if Jeep didn't do it, I will once I can find a source for them.

They had a 4 position fan control switch - off/low/med/high. there was also a cable-driven temp control slider similar to the chevy system.

newer units had the a/c controls integrated in the same control area, buy mine is the older bolt-under the dash unit.

The early ones used an all cable setup like the mil hot water heater for the M715 does though I have no idea what the fan switch positions were...the mil setup is hi and low...civvy could be 3 or 4 in the early ones I would guess....heres the cable setup diagram:

    15 turns on defrost
    16 turns on heat
17 is the blend air door
    18 is the fan switch
