Does anyone know the weight of an M715 with winch? I know the manuals say 5500 pounds but has anyone every actually weighed the vehicle? I need to know for towing. Thanks!

I weighed my truck in stock trim, no winch or tools on the sides, troop seats but no rear canvas, 1/4 tank of gas, and it weighed 5360 without me in it. With the winch figure your gonna be around 5800...wont hit 6000 but getting close...with no extras...

I gotta hit a scrap yard Saturday and I'll weight in then. I'm thinking if Lee's at 6300, I'll probably be 6700-6900 with heavier motor/trans and second winch. I'll post results!

I believe mine was 5800. I'm 185-190, plus a winch, full canvas ect. Next time the scales are closed I'll pull in on the way home...

I recently went to the scrap yard with mine. It's a fully stock '67M715 w/ a winch from a M35A2 (10k). Weight out was: 6180 with almost full tank of gas, a pair of tire chains, and me(120lbs) in the drivers seat. So minus me 6060lbs.
