I bought two m715's at a salvage yard auction about a week ago and at least one is missing the plate that screws to the dash. Is the vin # stamped any where on the frame, or any where else on the truck?

Look on top of the frame rail behind the radiator, yet in front of where the diagonal cross brace attaches to the frame. May be hard to see at first, but it's there.

Mine is stamped in the rear location. Nothing stamped on the forward location. VERY FAINT. If you have any appreciable rust, you may not be able to see it.

It does seem that most trucks were stamped in one location or the other...faintness is common as well it seems too.
