M715 Generator vs one-wire Alternator
Post by joesco715 on Dec 11, 2006, 7:53pm

I would like some advice with regards to the charging system of the 715. My 715 which has the Hercules Diesel conversion has the stock Generator.

When I had my two M37's, one of the first mods I made was to convert the charging system to a one-wire delco alternator which greatly improved the charging system on the trucks.

Does this hold true for the 715's or should I leave well-enough alone?

Thanks for any comments or suggestions!!!

Merry Christmas to all.
