If I were to assume that early full size Jeeps all used the same pedal return springs as the M715, would I be correct?

Brake pedal and clutch pedal, yes!
Gas pedal though, I dont know as the pedal is unique to the M715...not sure if the spring there is the same or not...

Does anyone have a photo of the clutch and brake return springs mounting position under the dash?

I thought about that last night. Without a brake return spring there's nothing securing the master cylinder rod onto the post. Guess it doesn't matter a whole lot.
