cargo bow stave stop

What are the dimentions of the cargo bow stave stops? They appear to be quite simple, I just need to know what size it is, and the hole sizes. Item number 13 page 393 in the 1971 edition of the -34p manual.

Measures 2-1/4" x 1" x 1/4" thick.

That's exactly what I needed, thanks. I can match the bolt hole sizes to the wood piece (the stave).

Got some nice oak wood at Menard's (is that possible?) and cut them up for the cargo bow staves. Acquired a nice Craftsman router with table for free, and it even had the right bits. I did get the stave stops made from some nice tool steel. Now I'll have to wait until next year to paint......Brrrrrrrrr.

They should be counter sunk carrage bolts to keep the bolt heads from wearing holes in the canvas.

Actually, on mine they are all pan-head Phillips pulled in tight to the wood. One or two of them have washers, but most of them are just pulled in tight. I can get a picture come daylight if you'd like.

BTW, these I believe were off an M35. They are not stock M715 parts.

Yes you are correct, they are just like the ones used to attach the staves to the corner bracket. I knew they didn't have "bolt" heads and was not going to walk outside to the garage to double check them.
