    Default shackles

I know I asked this before on the pseudo zone. One of our fine members over here used lifted cherokee shackles for their rig. I searched here via google and on the pzone. I'm asking because I remember they had to be drilled out a little to fit, and I'm picking up a set on Thursday. What exactly was the mod?- gonz

    OK....

in the rear, at the frame you have to drill out the shackle bushing to 5/8's

in the rear, at the spring you can either drill the holes in the shackle bigger or (what I did) replace the spring bushing with a bushing from a 1975 CJ-5 spring bushing. And use a smaller bolt.

Good luck and post some pic's.....
