No, I wouldn't think so, as the military Tornado engine uses mounts that fasten to the block itself, instead of the goofy front plate used on the civilian version.
I'm not close to the garage, so I pulled up this photo thinking that you might be worried about a clearance problem with the frame.

Okay the freeze plugs on the front seem to be in good shape but the gasket was completely gone. It was basically glued on with rtv. Could this cause the contamination?
