Default New NAPA part Numbers - Master Swap

I picked up all my parts to do the dual master swap. The part numbers have changed from older posts so I will list them. NAPA tells me they are updating all their numbers.

G49502-0303 ---- Adapter- 9/16" master cylinder port to 1/4" flared line
G49500-0503 ---- Adapter- 1/2" master cylinder port to 3/16" flared line
    96246 ---- Dual Master (Wagner F66857)
    813-5461 ---- 30" 1/4" PVF flared brake line
    813-5454 ---- 30" 3/16" PVF flared brake line

Does that master have the two chambers the same size or a larger for the front?

The one I used was the same for both. Think others have used one with a larger front chamber.

Equal size chambers=disc/disc OR drum/drum master.

    Different size chambers=disc/drum master.

In a stock truck, the first type can work while the later style wont...not well anyway...only equal types should be used with stock 4 wheel drum setups.

    Forgot to mention;

    Interesting.
My master (which I bought using the old part numbers last year) has the different sized outputs. But I just necked them both down to fit 3/16 line (using screw in fittings).

So this is not going to work and I need to buy a new master cylinder?

Zach, there are a number of master cylinders that will work - I used the Cardone 10-1331 and it works fine.

I should have been more specific. I have a new NAPA dual circuit master, not the stock unit

Does yours have the different sized outputs?

I don't remember - it's been 3 years since I did it - have the receipts somewhere, but I think the outlet sizes were different.

If the line connectors are a different size, no biggee...the different size fluid reservoirs are the problem.
