Question what's the largest size tire you guys have been able to fit in the stock spare tire location with the stock securing bar?

If I recall, 36". Fisherman moved the support bar in the frame to make more room and was able to put in a 38" tire. This is from memory.
Found his post on it It's tucked, my spare that is. All the pictures are broken links now, unfortunately.

I have a 36x12-16 swamper that matches the tires on my truck up in the stock location. I had to deflate the tire a bit to get it up in there and once bolted in re-inflate the tire. It's wedged up in there tight. If I ever needed it I'm going to need an air source as I'll have to more than likely let the air out to get it back down and out.

I moved that crossmember too and I carry a 37" spare there. I mounted a strap winch (from a tractor trailer) and a pulley so I can winch the wheel into place using a 1/2" ratchet.
