sounds nice, Bob. I'd go for 20', that extra couple of feet is nice for room to get your balance and chain placement right. Plus when you go to the steel place and get 20' sticks of tube or whatever, you don't have to mess with it hanging out the back.

Bob, I know this will sound dumb, but what is special about 102" wide axles? No I don't have a trailer, so I am ignorant.

That's maximum legal width. Maximizes the width inside the wheel wells.

YEP, LIKE ALL THE NEW SEMI TRAILERS. ONLY THING IS YOU GOTTA BE MINDFUL WHEN YOUR PULLING IT AS TO THE WIDER WIDTH. AFTER TRUCKING FOR 25 YEARS I,AM USED TO THE WIDTH. YOU DONT HEAR MUCH ABOUT IT IN THE SMALL TRAILER WORLD. THATS WHY I,AM BUILDING MY OWN TRAILER. I LIKED TO NEVER FOUND A HYD. WINCH REASONABLE SAME WITH HYD PUMP SETUP. THANK GOD FOR EBAY...... LOL

YOU LIKE TO LIVE DANGEROUSLY .X CHAIN THE FRONT TO THE REAR AND X CHAIN THE REAR TO THE FRONT. 4 CHAINS. AND LOOKS LIKE YOU ONLY HAVE 3500 LB AXLES. TRUCK WEIGHS 7000 + TRAILER IS ? SO YOUR REALLY PUSHING YOUR LUCK. BETTER GO REAL SLOW AND HAVE SEVERAL SPARE TIRES FOR THE TRAILER.

I drove home with the 715 on a U-haul trailer, with a sling around the back axle and the rear frame on the trailer and a come-along from the front axle to the front of trailer...had 2 little tiedowns as "Oh sh%t" protection, didn't have any problem cruising 75 for 3 hours home..just had to tighten the come-along after 25 miles, all was good and tight when I got home...

I've seen a come-along tie down after an accident -- they don't hold up to a shock load.

I'm with Bob, almost anything is OK, 'til you get in an accident or even hard panic stop. Then you'd better have it done right, both to save your own neck, and for liability.
