Thread: Locker

Ha ha, that was funny... I considered mentioning selectable lockers. My posts tend to ramble on so I didn't. I have an OX locker in the back of my 69CJ5. After years of detroits, powr-loc's set up tight with all curved clutches, driving on the OX is a dream. It drives like a car now. Need kung fu grip, flip the little lever and get after it. And now that I live about 40 miles from Canada we have ice and snow for several months out of the year now. I don't take the jeep out much but when I do, it tracks very well unlocked. The money they save in tire wear eventually will pay for the higher costs of the unit. I have an OX for the front. One of these days I just might put it in.
They are a great invention. And as you get older, you don't want to white knuckle it every time you drive. A sure sign of being past 50.
