Default Finally some pics of my project progress

I've been off here for a while working like mad to make some progress on the truck. Hope these pics all turn out. First is a shot of the frame painted in primer black epoxy after a complete sandblast.

This is a pic of the engine ready to drop in with trans attached

This is a shot of the "spicer plate" I copied from pictures posted here, after trial and error I wound up trimming it down about 2 5/8" and redrilling the holes for clearance of the eng mount bolts
This is a shot of the trans mount I copied from pictures here
Heres the 1/4" plate (don't know the runout Bob) and motor mount attached

Heres the short shaft and look closely on the bottom right you can see the trans mount
This is a shot of the pass side xfer case mount, I used 3/8" x 2" stock and after working it into place using the stock mount as a reference I canted the verticle piece a few degrees for fitment prior to welding
Okay, I'd like to take credit for all of this mount but the transfer case already had the upper part of this mount included, so I just assymilated it into my own needs and made the sides and bottom using the stock mount for alignment and fitting

Default More pics of my project

    Heres more pics:

This shot is of the primary drivetrain installed
Here's a shot of the tub and bed just back from paint and EXTENSIVE body work
This is a closeup of the color, Nissan D-13 Canteen Green, base/clear polyurethane, sorta keeps the tradition of the military color with just a little pearle for a more modern look.
Hope these all came out, moderators feel free to modify this post as needed, and last but not least...HEY TACOMA-WHERE'S YOURS?
P.S. How does that drive line angle look to yall?

Thanks Webster, I still have a ways to go. Next is the e-brake hookup. I have
everything else compiled, just have to get some new yokes and flanges and then start the re-assembly process ...whew.
You guys post up, let me know what you think and if I can answer any questions just let me know.

Well actually, thier Armstrong Miracle Extra Traction, they came with the truck and are a little dry but I'm gonna run 'em for a while before I replace them. They measure 37" tall but I lost all my old before pics from a virus, I'm still looking for some old pics tho.
