    M715 guys of old
    Post by binfordm715 on Aug 29, 2006, 9:17am

Nick found an old copy of JP Magazine (May 2000) that I had saved. It has an article about an M715 that was nicely restored by Bill Gallihugh of Orange, VA. Anyone here know him?

They had some URLs for some M715 stuff, including a webring owned by Luke Schulze that some of you might know.

And the Zone was listed as a geocities site. That must have been a while ago, huh?!

Yeah, that is a while back.... I seem to remember Luke, but Bill is not ringing a bell.

Bill has a winch truck (27762 7/68, in case Jon doesn't have it) that they called a '69 in the article. Looks like he put black covers over the front turn signal holes and put plain amber lights on either side of the winch instead. He put a Ford 300 I6 in it and painted it '90 Sahara Wrangler "Metallic Khaki" (looks pretty good!) Do I need to scan the article?

That is one of my favorite Mag's, that issue anyway. He has a very nice truck, with a lot of work to make it that clean.

Scan for the populace who may not have that issue. I have it. That is a nice truck, I remember it.

Luke Schulze might be on the FSJ list or something. I know I know that name.

Is it just my connection, or has Image Shack incredibly slow lately?

    Here's the article:

I met Bill a couple of years ago at the Aberdeen rally before it moved to Churchville. He done a super job on that truck all the way down to the individual bolts. It was so clean you could see your face in it. He told me at the show he was going to sell it, but I don't know if he ever did. But wow, what a good lookin' ride he had.
