They are supposed to be the same size front and rear.
That said, somewhere around I have pics of my originals and the rear has a different bend in it that appears to have come that way from the factory and the top fits fine with them.

I just received mine from fishtail and noticed that my old one was shorter. After further inspection it looks like the old one was cut down to make room for the old hard top. put new one on and the new soft top fits perfectly.
