    Is that a Chevy dizzy you're talking about? Mine's a 230, 12v with a Prestolite dizzy but I would love to convert it. I haven't had the pleasure of trying to find points for it yet.

    I used a MSD Blaster coil that I had on hand. Apparently the Ignitor wants 3ohms for resistance, not the 4.5 that the MSD coil has.

    Paul at Pertronix tech line offered to replace it under warranty, but I declined since I am the tool that broke it.

    Sorry for the delay guys, I've been doing brake work.

    No, it's a chevy engine. I believe there is a unit available for the civilian tornado distributor. Prestolite was so popular it may not be an issue. (Now I've put the bad juju on it, haven't I?) The coil is the Ignitor II. No ballast resisitor.

    I got the set-up from The Car Shop in Moline, Ill. Very knowledgable
