What are your guys recommendations?

How'd the trailer feel?

Any problems whatsoever?

I used a Better Built trailer 18' with a 2' dove tail 83" wide.
It barely fit, 2 3500# axles but it pulled great.

How far is it going? Buyer's responsibility to pick it up, isn't it? Sheesh.... I wouldn't take that on.

My brother towed mine on a 16 foot flatbed. The main thing is to have trailer brakes and a good set of tires. The tires on my trailer were passenger car rated and the weight ruined them. All four developed bubbles. The trailer felt good though and we were able to cruise at 70-75 mph. This was with a one ton chevy pick up as the tow vehicle. Later, I pulled the Kaiser on the same trailer with my 1/2 ton chevy to the exhaaust shop and back. Again, it felt good as I was rolling but I was in town and only hit about 30-40 mph tops. I don't have a trailer brake controller on the 1/2 ton and the stopping effort was a little nerve racking.

It will fit on the wider U-haul trailer, don-t tell them what it is, you are hauling a 1967 Jeep CJ, that will show up in their computer..tell them you need the wider of the 2 trailers they have due to oversized tires on it....Tow vehicle is going to have a huge effect on how smooth and fast you can go...the U-haul trailers have surge brakes, but the trailer will push the truck around a little if you use too small of a truck...I didn't have any problem with my CCLB, even up to 75 mph...except for one spot on a downhill with a quick lane shift, the trailer swayed a little more than my pucker-sensor liked..but no other problems...

IF you go the U-haul route, you need to find some extra way to tie it down, the provided straps aren't long enough...

Brian used a Penske rental and ended up breaking a strap or 3 between here and TX.

Penske won't rent a trailer unless you rent one of their trucks to pull it too.

I bet you do appreciate "the input", ya fruit. I towed mine on a 7k trailer w/a F250, felt fine.
