    Okay... Who do I own?!

I own a few nay-sayers now who said I should just get a new windshield because the canvas top channel was removed on mine.

    Well.......

My $25 fix: 1/2x1/2" square tubing ($4.50) and a 3/16" groove cut through it ($20).

    Tacked on.......

The windshield was the last thing I had yet to paint, and here it is.....

I'm so close now I can taste it!

(Oh, wait.... No, that's leaded paint dust and spray paint fumes. Sorry....)

I expect Friday evening to be the Grand Unveiling. Get your tickets while they last!

Great fix Tim...for the record, I don't recall the naysayers...sorry.

How much are the tickets? Can I get one for free since I gave ya the parts carb? Please? I'm a little short on cash.

Glad the measurments went to good use...might want to chamfer the opening in the bottom of the channel...so as not to snag the top going in and out so easy.

Free tix for Douggy. Windshield frame, 'k? And I slid the top through the channel (or rather, I slid the channel over the top!) and it was like butter. The edges were deburred and slightly rounded. If it tries to snag in actual practice, I'll call my friend, Mr. File.
