Thread: Factory two-piece metal hardtop $value$??

  1. #1

Default Factory two-piece metal hardtop $value$??

I have been told that I 'apparently' have one of the rare original factory two piece metal tops. I would appreciate opinions on what it may be worth listing on eBay, just in case I decide to run canvas all year? It has a couple mods; but pretty good shape for its age, and a bit of a unicorn being a factory top. Opinions appreciated!! Unfortunately, no idea how to post a pic.

Is it a slant or flat version? Saw a nos flat version go for $1000 about 10 years ago.

The Tapatalk app is the easiest way to post pix. Obviously, those pix have to be on your phone, but I haven't used a photo hosting site for years because Ttalk is so easy.

This IS the factory 2 piece flat top roof...the window size and those rounded corners give it away. Mine was just like that...got it in the original military packaging when I bought it many years ago.

Thanks for the info. Yes, that is the same top I have. And btw, that is a good looking rig you have there.

List it here first. I'd be interested depending on how hard and expensive shipping would be.
