Default Affordable 230 OHC Water Pump Source
A friend on another forum informed me of a more affordable alternative to others discussed here. Better built, too, with larger bearings, according to Wade, the proprietor. See Flying Dutchman Water Pumps at:

Mine was was $154 plus Priority return shipping.

Jon, should this be stickied? I noticed a post in a fuel pump rebuilder thread inquiring about waterpump rebuilding.

Default Water pump rebuild
I had my water pump rebuilt at my local Napa. They sent it out to cardone in Pa. Total of $88 and still original.
