Is it possible to find NOS leaf springs or shackles anywhere?

I haven’t found NOS anywhere. Are yours damaged or what are you trying to do? Might be able to offer some ideas if I know what you are trying to achieve.

My springs are fine but all the bushings need to be replaced. I’ve seen on BJs off-road that you can buy replacement bushings for the front springs but nothing for the rear or the shackles

If you look at the top of the page on this site you will see vintage power wagon catalog link, when listed it shows they had new springs.

I’ve purchased nylon rod blanks before and machined them on a lathe to create bushings. Not sure if that is more involved than you want to do but it’s a thought if you are out of options.

I have all the bushing part numbers at home. I can send them over later this afternoon.

I really thought I kept better records of what went where. This is all I have for right now.
Front springs Front eye - Napa 274-6523 Rear eye - Napa 274-1185 I did replace all the bushings front and back including the front shackles. I will keep looking through my pile of stuff. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. |
