Thread: New purchase

  1. #1

    Default New purchase

My son just purchased a 67 M715 to restore as his first car. I set this account up for us to learn an get some advice from time to time.

For this, he has three years to turn it into a daily driver, we are going to be starting the tear down this weekend and then evaluate on what to restore/replace/upgrade.

Any advice is appreciated and we will be posting pictures of the project as it advances.

Welcome to the Zone! I’m A&M ‘90. My sister lives in Magnolia.

TXfirefighter has a great build going on in Tomball. You might want to drop him a PM and try to arrange a visit his truck. Seeing them apart is always an eye opener.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

very cool project to get to do with your son, congrats on the purchase!

I'm in Austin and have mine fully torn apart. Only advice I can give to start off is to download and print the manuals that are linked at the top of the forums. They are invaluable and I spent way too much time at first trying to look at them on my phone. Printing is the way to go.
