    Default Canvas top installation

Finally got my top in from new life canvas. Can't beleive i didn't take notice but there are two tracks on the windshield. Looks like the top track was installed after and should be removed but wanted to check in before I take it off. Here is a pic

That second track is not original. Note the pop-rivets.

Figured so but couldn't find any diagrams on it. I'll drill those rivets out and remove it. Now that the top is here I can finish my seat install and get it on the road!

Yep cut that extra piece off or it looks like it will cut through your new top.

Interesting... is that track for something like a CJ bikini top?

It might have been some kind of bikini top. Went to install the top today and realized that someone cut down the bows on the top so now I am going to have to rebuild those. Does anyone have schematics for what the cab dimensions are specifically for the soft top bows?

I sure will Von that just made my life a whole lot easier. Thanks!

They also pulled off all the old fasteners so going to have to figure out placement on those too. Man I was so stoked to get that top on too. Guess thats how it going to be... 1 step forward 2 steps back. Lol
