    Looks like I need it real quick....well...soon anyway...if someone has that writeup he did on the rag joint, I would appreciate it!!

    nope, but it's pretty straightforward.
    I personally hate ragjoints and will be systematically replacing them w/U-joints as they need replacing.

    Jon whats wrong with yours? I just rebuilt most of my steering for the F.E. we had.

    I think I have his write up printed out at home Jon. It will be Saturday afternoon before I can look for it, but I will.

    Like Chris said, what do you need? I just redid my entire steering a month or so ago too.

    I can grab the rag joint and move it quite a bit up and down....not good...

    If you feel it's getting worn, you can replace the (?)tire material. I did it on mine, and I'm not that smart!

    I agree with you Tacoma, but they are kind of expensive though. The cheapest one I could find was like $62 bucks from Summit. Do you know where to get them cheaper?

    u-joints. I needed one to couple my new steering column to the old shaft, then I rebuilt the rag joint cause I didn't want to spend the money for another u-joint.

    Well there's always tractor parts LOL

    I haven't priced any joints in a while, but I'd pay the $62 with joy. I just don't like rag joints.
