    Default It Lives!!!!!

My '67 M715 sputtered to life this past week. A rebuilt carb, rebuilt fuel pump, rebuilt distributor and some crossed fingers and we have life! Now to fine tune it and smooth it out. I also need to drop the tank, I think I blew off the fuel pickup using a compressor to check to see if the feed line was plugged. Looks pretty silly with a 2 liter Coke bottle under the hood to draw fuel from. Another small step in the resurection of a piece of history.

Good, now you can cruise up to Jon and I and we can have a mini-FE here. We can drive around my backyard (one at a time, that's all the room there is......)

I just finished my carb rebuild (fuel pump and dist. done already) Cleaned out the gas tank, but need a fuel filter and some clamps tomorrow to get it running again.

Tank isnt hard to remove...there are couple bolts and straps...empty the tank with the drain plug...take off the filler hose...put a floor jack under...start lowering and disconnect the wires and fuel line and she is all yours.

Once its down, you have to take it off the jack to ge it out from under the truck...but if it is empty, it isnt that hard.
