Default brake line to master cyl. ??

I have a chevrolet hydroboost from a CUCV. It has a large reservoir at the rear and a smaller one up front.

Does the brake line which feeds the rear brakes attach to the large or small reservoir?

Because disc brakes have no mechanism for adjustment, the piston cavity will increase and hold a larger quantity of fluid as the brake pads wear . The larger reservoir on a disc/drum MC is meant to feed the calipers and hold enough fluid in reserve so there is no chance of running the MC dry as the pads wear thin.

...and so this is why the front (disc brake end) goes to the larger reservoir.

Wow. Logic strikes again. Good explanation.
