    rebuilding fuel pump problem

    I just rebuillt my fuel pump in my m715. And i can't get it to pump gas even if I prime it with gas. No suction of anykind. I had all my vacuum lines hooked up to. And my vacuum wipers work great tho. If anyone could help me. Thanks

    sounds like the diaphram is not doing its thing. take the pump off and clamp it down then move arm to manually work it. it should suck on the inlet side and exhaust on the outlet. if it dont you gotta take it back apart and look to see if diaphram is hooked up correctly if it is then look for a tiny hole in it with a magnifying glass.

    I found out what the problem was. The shaft on the diaphram is to long and not letting it pump the fuel. I don't if they sent me the wrong one or what?
