Thread: a solution for the spark plug wrench

Default a solution for the spark plug wrench

here is my solution to the problem with the wrench not wanting to turn because of the close clearance to the body on the # 5 wire

I simply used a hacksaw to cut about 3 inchs off the end of the handle, than using a torch heated it up, made the bend than reheated it and put it in used oil to treat it.

and this is what it looks like after doing all that

But I also recommend that you have two wrenches, if your going to use this method, because it is a pain to try and use the shorter wrench to break loose rusty threads.

Cool, man! I'm going to move this over to the stock board since it would be more likely to be found there during a search.

    Thanks!
