I tried the vacuum wipers and with the V8 conversion, and a vacuum reservoir, they "sorta" worked.

Then I tried the Chinese ones pictured above and they "sorta" worked.

Last, I tried YJ wipers and they definitely worked, but still required a modification of the wiper arms for clearance, along with welding the stock wiper hole on one side of the windshield frame closed and redrilling it a little further to the passenger side.

This is about as close to a true "bolt-on" as I have ever found.

I wondered if these had some other specific use. I'd bet they did.

Once with the vacuum wipers and once with the electric. The way things are going here in Texas I don't have to worry about rain anytime soon.
    Thanks!

PC, I think what killed these pretty fast was trying to use them in the Winter and the snow several times. Lots of load and resistance. Probably with occasional use in just rain and they'd be fine.

Nope. The motors came out of the box and bolted on with no mods tot he motors or position.

I actually used the stock M715 wiper arms/blades which are the same as every Jeep for about 45 years used. Same as a CJ, DJ, etc. I know NAPA discontinued them a while back, but I grabbed a couple sets when they were still around. Since then, I have seen them manufactured by Crown so they are still available from anyone who sells Crown products. I think I saw them on the Kaiser-Willys site.
