Originally there was just an end plate that allowed the axle to turn all the time, it was not a locking and unlocking hub...fully locked all the time.

Any of you guys have the hubs with the lifting brackets on them? My 725 came that way, and I've heard that there is also a drum that can be bolted on to spool cable to as a self-powered axle winch.
